This role involves regulating companies involved in offshore oil and gas operations and related activities and will sit in a team of specialist inspectors who regulate Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering aspects for floating offshore installations, particularly FPSO/FSU and Semi-Submersible units.

For this particular role, we are looking for a professional with experience of Marine Engineering in the offshore oil and gas industry, who has the knowledge and understanding of the design, installation, operation and maintenance of Marine Engineering related matters for floating units to achieve and maintain safety in the offshore oil and gas environment. Knowledge and understanding of Naval Architecturally related matters is also desirable.
