The purpose of this role is to ensure HSE has the capability to deliver its strategy and to equip colleagues with the expertise to perform effectively. As a Learning and Development Specialist you will work as part of a wider team in leading the design, development, delivery of learning experiences and resources that align with organisational and user needs.
You will work closely with the Delivery Leads alongside both internal and external stakeholders and SME’s and project managers to ensure that learning needs are identified, and that solutions are targeted, appropriate and delivered on time. This is a broad role and you’ll be involved in a range of projects to deliver the L&D plan and expand, mature and professionalise the learning offer. You will work to understand needs in a complex and fast moving environment, and to translate this into learner centric, inclusive, blended learning experiences that are tailored to the needs, preferences, and goals of learners.
This role will play a key part in building capability across the organisation, developing career pathways and enhancing the learning offer. This role carries a significant responsibility for driving forward high profile learning projects, taking accountability to ensure delivery is achieved in line with priorities. You’ll be a visible and credible learning professional with a broad and high impact remit.
