You can expect to contribute to a diverse range of projects, and be involved in both commercial and HSE work. You will be part of a team of PM specialists and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

You will be the Project manager on a portfolio of science based health and safety related projects. The projects will be a mix of both HSE (internal) and Commercial projects, of low to medium complexity generally using waterfall technique.

Training Administrator -Commercial Training Team

We are looking for a Training Administrator to join our team. Working as part of the HSE Training Team, as the Training Administrator you will support the delivery of training activities in this important business area.

Our training courses are developed to include practical guidance around regulations and delivered by experts in order to help organisations comply with law, enhance performance and keep workforces healthy and safe. These courses are delivered as open and in-company courses in both a live online and face-to-face setting. This role will be the administrative support to these courses.

Fire Statement Assessor

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit more Fire Statement Assessors into our HSE team.

As a Fire Statement Assessor, you will play a key part in supporting the delivery of the Statutory Consultee role. This role will involve the assessment of fire statements produced by fire engineers working for developers on matters related to Land Use Planning. You will produce substantive response taking advice from other technical experts and/or local Fire and Rescue Services as appropriate.

You will assess fire safety statements provided as part of planning gateway one, the first part of the enhanced regulatory system for higher risk buildings and provide a substantive response to the Local Planning Authority (LPA).

Regulatory Health and Safety Trainers

We are looking for Regulatory Health and Safety Trainers to join our team. HRD helps HSE achieve this through the delivery of its in-house Regulators Training Programme (RTP). All new regulators are required to undertake and pass the Post Graduate Diploma in Regulatory Occupational Health and Safety (the Diploma) or undertake the Specialist Training Programme (STP).

These programmes blend digital training learning with face to face tutorials and workshops and field based experiential learning. We have worked hard to adapt how we deliver both programmes to reflect the different ways we have found ourselves working in during the pandemic. Our delivery now consists of a mixture of digital learning hosted on our own learning management system TEDI (Training, Education, Development and Inspiration), face to face (current restrictions permitting) and virtual classrooms in MS Teams. Offshore IMT Regulatory Specialist

We are looking for an Offshore IMT Regulatory Specialist to join our growing team.

You will be Energy Division’s focal point with a number of offshore installations managing our regulatory relationship with duty holders in the offshore oil and gas industries. You will travel by helicopter to offshore installations and floating production and non-production installations, usually once a month and for anything from one to four days at a time.
