We have an exciting and varied opportunity for a motivated individual with an interest in Science, to join the Exposure Assessment & Control (EAC) team. EAC is part of HSE Science Divisions’ Health Group, whose purpose is to prevent worker ill health caused by exposure to chemical, physical and biological hazards. The multidisciplinary team comprises expertise in occupational hygiene and allied specialisms in the disciplines of noise, vibration, aerosols, respiratory protection and ventilation.
Your role will be to provide essential scientific support to the Exposure Assessment & Control (EAC) team in the daily preparation and delivery of projects for HSE and external customers. Your work will contribute to innovative HSE research and commercial work and occasionally to HSE incident investigation. Your role will be a mixture of office, laboratory and field based working (including outdoor working). There may also be periods of lone working in these environments.
You will be required to travel for field based activities, site visits and other activities within the UK, in line with business needs.
