Operational Performance and Planning Team Member

The Operational Performance and Planning Team (OPPT) works at the heart of CRD’s corporate support unit. The team is responsible for developing detailed business plans that capture the aims and priorities for CRD’s key regulatory activities. The team is also responsible for negotiating and agreeing detailed work programmes that reflect agreements and priorities for a range of activities that are funded by other government departments. The team also ensures that we have the right information and evidence to demonstrate that CRD continues to deliver its commitments and continues to meet the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will support the implementation of, and continually refine a performance and delivery monitoring framework aimed at demonstrating the division is working efficiently, highlighting potential inefficiency, and provide reports to the divisional management team to support the creation of performance culture. Your success will enable CRD to measure its performance against programme and strategic objectives, delivering in line with the reporting requirements to the appropriate internal and external governance boards and other stakeholders.

This role provides an excellent development opportunity to gain depth and breath of knowledge and understanding of divisional and HSE performance reporting and monitoring, supporting the wider leadership community and exposure to senior leaders.
