We are looking for 2 people to join our technical support team based in the Major Hazards Group of HSE’s Science Division. The group carries out laboratory and large (outdoor) scale scientific tests and experiments for the HSE. These tests can be in relation to investigating the cause of industrial accidents that have occurred across the UK, a specific research topic or helping support the safe development of new technologies. Much of this work is supporting the safe introduction of new fuel technologies, such as batteries or hydrogen for heat or transport.

You will be providing a range of support, enabling the delivery of this work. The role will suit people who are practical and like an element of variety, there are very few days exactly the same.
